“The doctor of the future will give no medication but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, diet and in the cause and prevention of disease”. Thomas A Edison.
Kirsty Terry is a Nutritionist and Energy Medicine Practitioner with a specialist interest in Integrative and Functional medicine. Her passion is to help empower her clients to take control of their health and well-being naturally. She offers a wide range of complimentary holistic therapies and uses the latest energy medicine equipment. This helps her clients accelerate their achievement of optimal health and vitality naturally using a non-invasive and drug-free approach.
Kirsty is passionate about nutrition and the link to health, together with a love of complimentary holistic therapies including Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Energy Medicine, Homeopathy, Bach flowers, Kinesiology, Crystals and Reiki. She returned to studying at Bristol University in 2010 to complete her Masters in Nutrition, Physical Activity & Public Health. It was these studies, along with her own experience of health and weight management, that helped her appreciate the limitations of conventional medical practice in dealing with the current health challenges of our modern society. She recognises illness or ‘dis-ease’ is a complex combination of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues which are also heavily influenced by the nutritional, lifestyle, psychological, environmental and social factors.
By working with each person’s bio-individuality and identifying the underlying root cause of ill health she aims to heal the ‘whole’ person not just the symptoms.
“I specialise in working with clients to remove the environmental and microbial toxicities and strengthen the immune system, in particular leaky gut and children suffering with symptoms of autism spectrum disorders”.
Kirsty has a home-based practice in Cheltenham as well as practicing at various locations within Gloucestershire. Her equipment is fully portable, allowing both home, hospital and other location based visits, as well as offering remote consultations via SKYPE and surrogate testing using hair or nail samples. She has featured recently in the Cotswold Preview magazine and is regularly invited onto local BBC radio to support healthy eating in Gloucestershire.
“I offer clients a natural approach to achieving their optimum health and vitality naturally using a blend of age old therapies in combination with the latest in energy medicine technologies – Non-invasive, pain and drug-free”.
