Toxic burdenThe reality is we are living in a planet that is full of toxicities.  No matter how hard we try environmental toxicity is all around us in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the foods we eat, the packaging it is provided in and even the soil that nurtures our food.   Air and water pollution play a part, as well as the thousands of harmful environmental toxins such as pesticide, chemicals, household cleaners, fertilizers, plastic bottles, containers and packaging, medications, over the counter drugs, vaccines and even dental fillings!

Every day, we ingest many of these chemicals and there are many our bodies cannot metabolize.   What we the body cannot detoxify gets stored in the fat cells in our bodies and they continue to accumulate.   When we can’t detox, this chemical build up alters our ability to metabolise, causing enzymes not to function, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances and damage to the brain chemistry as well as weight gain.

Long term our physiological and psychological health is effected and many different chronic illness can develop.  Early warning signs of too much toxicity in the body include headaches, skin conditions and fatigue.

Read the labels carefully on all cleaning and chemical products and try to use natural products such as vinegar and lemon for cleaning products inside the home.

Be aware of the chemicals applied to furniture, carpets and beds and always use natural products where possible for clothing and bedding and flooring.
